    53rd Annual Thanksgiving Pow Wow
  • Deadline to Apply for Discounted Rate: Friday, September 26, 2025 

    Each application will require approval. A member of the Cultural Dept. staff will contact you via email and/or text upon approval. This application does not constitute an agreement or promise to accept you as a vendor at our event. Applications received after Friday, September 26, 2025, will be placed on a waiting list and considered only if there is availability. If approved, a late fee of $50 will be added to the vendor payment.

    Space Information: 

    • Electricity is not guaranteed. Please be prepared to bring a generator. 
    • Tents, tables, and chairs are not provided. 
    • Previous spaces are not guaranteed. 

    Vendor Check-In: 

    • Wednesday, November 27, 2024, 10am – 7pm 
    • Thursday, November 28, 2024, 7am – 9am 

    Check-in times are subject to change depending on the weather and ground conditions. 

    • If grounds are too wet, you will possibly be trailered in by staff. Please be patient!
    • Vehicles are to be off the grounds by 9am Thursday and Friday morning. No exceptions! Booth breakdown may begin on Friday evening when winners are being called. Please make sure to clean around your area before departing. 
  • Note: Vendors checking in after 7pm will be required to check-in on Thursday morning. 

  • Poarch Creek Indians Cultural Department Rules & Regulations: 

    1. Tools, vulgar items, and items with the Poarch Creek Indians logo will not be permitted to be sold. 
    2. No vendor is allowed to sell ANY type of smoking paraphernalia other than traditional Native American-style calumets. If any pipe, vaping apparatus, or any other item deemed inappropriate by the powwow committee is seen displayed or for sale during the powwow, the vendor must immediately remove the item for his/her booth. Noncompliance with this regulation may lead to the vendor being asked to vacate the vendor spot and leave the powwow grounds with no refund on booth registration fee. 
    3. Traditional weapons such as knives, spears, etc. may be sold but must be in display cases. 
    4. No pets are allowed on the grounds unless it is a service pet with documentation. 
    5. All vendors must submit 4 photographs of their merchandise. If not submitted, your application will be considered incomplete. 
    6. You will receive 2 free wristbands per space for admission. Any additional vendors will need to pay admission price. 
    7. Each vendor space must be cleaned after breakdown. 
    8. Each vendor will receive a number to attach to your booth. Photos will be taken of your merchandise for departmental use. 
    9. The Cultural Department reserves the right to remove a vendor for any action(s) that threatens the health and safety of the public or the integrity of the event. 
    10. Previous spaces and electricity are not guaranteed. Please be prepared to bring a quiet generator or some type of battery-operated lighting. 
    11. Payments are non-refundable. 
    12. Vehicles will be allowed to enter the grounds to breakdown when the Emcee is announcing winners. 
    13. Vendors must not violate the following laws: “The Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 (P.L. 101-644) is a truth-in-advertising law that prohibits misrepresentation in marketing of Indian arts and crafts products within the United States. It is illegal to offer or display for sale or sell any art or craft product in a manner that falsely suggests it is Indian produced, an Indian product, or the product of a particular Indian or Indian Tribe or Indian Arts and crafts organization, resident within the United States.” And the U.S. Endangered Species Act- The sale of feathers or bones from protected animals not permitted. 
    14. The sale of any item with the terms “Poarch”, “Poarch Creek”, “Poarch Creek Indians”, “Poarch Band of Creek Indians”, or “Creek Indians” are not permitted; only authorized vendors will sell official souvenirs. 
    15. Vendor spaces are reserved when payment is received after approval. 
    16. All Native American Made or Native American related and must be culturally appropriate, non- stereotypical. The Cultural Department reserves the right to make final decisions on items offered for sale. 
    17. You will be contacted via email and/or mail for approval/denial. 
  • Applications will be considered in the following order: 

    1. Booth is 100% authentic Native American handmade items. 
    2. Booth is made up of both 100% authentic Native American items and commercial native inspired items. 
    3. Commercial booths with Native American inspired items. 
    4. Other authentic indigenous handmade crafts. 
    5. All other craft vendors.
